AVSL Round 7 - Frankston

Good to see we had a reasonable result in R7 despite quite a few athletes being away. Importantly we beat Ringwood, who were the next team behind us and now have a nice 6 point buffer over Ringwood and a 7 point buffer over Wyndham in the relegation zone in 9th place. Providing we keep performing well we should be well clear of relegation.

The bottom 8 teams all still have joker in hand so we could come up against some other teams using theirs in R9.

I’ll be back on Monday but will miss R8. Good luck to all competing on Saturday. Hoping we can do WAM proud again. Also we need 1 club helper at Yarra Ranges for the long jump. Hoping we can get 2 volunteers to do a shift from say 1 -3:15 and 3:15 to 5:30. This is our last helper duty. So if you haven’t done one yet, this would be a very helpful time.

Keep free for our potential Powerplay round 9 on Sat 1st February at Doncaster and Glenhuntly. Entries will open on Wednesday at 5pm. Hoping for a massive turnout and big points round. See you then.
